MANILA, Philippines — Senator Alan Peter Cayetano emphasized that every Filipino, whether a senator or a citizen, “deserves equal treatment and the full measure of due process,” following the supposed warrant of arrest issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa.

In a statement on Saturday, Cayetano said he wanted to assure those following the developments involving Dela Rosa that “no one is above the law, and no one is beneath its protection.”
