This afternoon, I went to our barangay covered court to play basketball with some friends. The court was quiet at first, just a few of us shooting around. The sound of the ball bouncing and hitting the ring echoed under the roof it felt nice to be back on the court again.

We played a few games, laughed, and joked around. It wasn’t really about winning, just about having fun and spending time together. I missed moments like this simple and carefree.

While resting, I looked around and saw the community center nearby. It reminded me how this place isn’t just for playing, but also where people come together when things get rough. Playing here made me feel thankful for my friends and for this small place that always feels like home.
